The Super
Gradiometer system is designed for Earthquake Prediction
applications that require the most demanding survey
specifications. Magnetic has played a significant role in
Earthquake studies for several decades. Based on the theory of
piezomagnetism and/or piezokinetics, it offers a possibility of
detection of precursors to earthquakes due to gradual pressure
build-up. Three typical limiting factors include sensitivity,
long-term stability and a need to eliminate environmental noise
(diurnals, man made noise). The GSMP-20GS3 was developed with the
Russian Research Group of DR. E. Alexandrov in response to the
United State Geological Survey’s (USGS) requirement for an
ultra-high sensitivity magnetic Gradiometer. |

The GSM-90
EUROMAG is a scalar magnetometer of high absolute accuracy (0.2nT)
and low long term drift (0.05nT / year). It is optimized for use
in magnetic observatories, long term monitoring arrays in Volcano
logy. GSM-90 have installed at British Geological Survey (BGS)
observatory station in Eskdalemuir, South Scotland, also dedicated
Scientist from the Instituto Nazionale di Geofisica e Vulcanologia
(INGV) are using the system as a cornerstone of their research
into the periodic eruptions of Europe’s most active Volcano.

The GSMP-40
v6.0 Optical Pumped Potasium is the highest sensitivity and
absolute accuracy magnetometer/gradiometer. This is designed for
specialized mobile and stationary applications that require the
most demanding survey specifications. Integrated GPS option (the
only system with fully built-in GPS) 20 times per second sampling
rate “Walking” mode for acquisition of high density data, by using
GEMLinkW Software for rapid transfer data. This is a key
requirements in applications, such as UXO/EOD and Archeology,
where success depends on the ability to map and characterize the
smallest contrasts in magnetic physical properties. One a system
is purchased, there is no need to return it for periodic optical
alignment.
